DietBottom feeder — quality sinking wafers and pellets plus frozen and live foods like bloodworm and brine shrimp. Feed after lights out if kept with faster fish.
CompatibilityPeaceful schooling bottom-dweller — keep a group of six or more. Perfect with tetras, rasboras and other calm community fish. The black mask over the eyes gives it its name.
SetupSand or smooth fine gravel protects their barbels. Cover from plants and driftwood plus open areas to sift the substrate. Gentle flow and clean, well-oxygenated water.
Care LevelWeekly partial water changes of 25%. Keep the substrate clean — corys forage with sensitive barbels. Sand or smooth fine gravel prevents wear.
Please ensure you can provide a suitable, cycled tank before ordering. Young bettas may mature after arrival.
