DietOmnivorous — sinking pellets, frozen bloodworm, brine shrimp and quality flakes. Will eat snails. Feed daily.
CompatibilitySemi-aggressive — keep in a group with robust, similar-sized fish. Can be nippy with slow or long-finned tankmates. Not for shy community fish.
SetupPlanted tank with driftwood, rocks, caves and fine sand. Moderate filtration and good flow. Stable temperatures are important.
Care LevelWeekly partial water changes of 25-30%. Feed a varied diet including snail control. Quarantine new fish.
