Care Guide
DifficultyBeginner
SetupSetup: place the sponge filter upright in the aquarium, connect the air line from an air pump and position the unit away from decor that could block flow. Adjust air output for the desired gentle current. It provides biological filtration and gentle water movement, ideal for fry, shrimp and sensitive fish.
Care LevelMaintenance: every 3-4 weeks, squeeze the sponge clean in a bucket of tank water only. Never wash with tap water or detergents. Check the air line and pump monthly and replace the sponge when it no longer holds its shape.
Please ensure you can provide a suitable, cycled tank before ordering. Young bettas may mature after arrival.
