Male Guppy Group – Single Variety

Five or ten male guppies of one chosen variety, so the whole group matches.

About this pack

The same R28-per-fish value as the assorted groups, but with a single variety throughout – five Green Cobras, five Red Caps, five Platnums and so on. This is the option to choose when you want a uniform colour block in the tank, or when you are breeding up a line.

Because the group is one variety, the fish will match closely in size and colouration, which assorted groups cannot promise.

Same husbandry note as the assorted male group: males are territorial, so give a group of five a 90-litre-plus planted tank and break up sightlines.

Care

• Water: 22-28°C, pH 6.8-7.8. Very tolerant of hard water, which suits Cape Town tap water well.
• Tank: Minimum 20 litres per guppy. Males need 90 litres plus and heavy planting.
• Diet: Quality flake daily plus live or frozen food.
• Breeding: Livebearers, giving birth to free-swimming fry.

Stock note: the larger option is 10 fish plus 1 free, so you receive 11 guppies at the price of 10. Stock is limited by what each shipment can safely carry, and we cap group numbers accordingly.
