About this product
A sunset dwarf gourami, named for the warm orange to reddish gradient running along the flanks over a paler belly. Peaceful, active and small enough for a planted community tank, and unfussy about water conditions.

DietMicro-predator — small flake and micro pellets plus frozen and live foods like bloodworm, brine shrimp and daphnia. Feed small amounts once or twice daily.
CompatibilityPeaceful and shy — ideal with small tetras, rasboras and Corydoras. Males can squabble with each other, so keep one male with females. Avoid boisterous or fin-nipping tankmates.
SetupDense planting with floating plants, gentle flow and dim lighting helps them settle. Access to warm, humid air at the surface is essential.
Care LevelWeekly partial water changes of 25%. Keep water warm, clean and stable — dwarf gouramis are prone to disease in poor conditions. Quarantine new arrivals.
