Brighter, longer-finned dwarf gourami male for planted tanks.
About this product
A male dwarf gourami. Males carry noticeably brighter colour and longer fins than the females, particularly along the lower body. Small, peaceful and active, they suit a planted community tank and finish off a nano setup nicely.

DietMicro-predator — small flake and micro pellets plus frozen and live foods like bloodworm, brine shrimp and daphnia. Feed small amounts once or twice daily.
CompatibilityPeaceful and shy — ideal with small tetras, rasboras and Corydoras. Males can squabble with each other, so keep one male with females. Avoid boisterous or fin-nipping tankmates.
SetupDense planting with floating plants, gentle flow and dim lighting helps them settle. Access to warm, humid air at the surface is essential.
Care LevelWeekly partial water changes of 25%. Keep water warm, clean and stable — dwarf gouramis are prone to disease in poor conditions. Quarantine new arrivals.
