About this Betta
A female Dumbo betta in assorted colours. The name comes from the enlarged pectoral fins that grow out level with the head like a pair of elephant ears, and they keep developing as the fish matures. Dumbo females are active and hardy, and the heavier finnage calls for a little more swimming space and calmer flow than a standard short-finned betta. Best suited to a planted setup with open water.
Each fish is individually selected by our supplier. The photograph is representative of this variety — colour and fin extension vary between individuals.
Full care guide is in the Care Guide tab.
