About this Betta
A male Crowntail betta. The defining feature is the crown of spiky, needled rays running along the edge of the dorsal, anal and tail fins, giving him a sharp, spiked outline in motion. Crowntails are strong swimmers, but those long fin rays tear easily in rough water, so he suits a calm, mature aquarium with gentle filtration and room to swim. A striking centrepiece for a dedicated tank.
Each fish is individually selected by our supplier. The photograph is representative of this variety — colour and fin extension vary between individuals.
Full care guide is in the Care Guide tab.
