About this product
An assortment of the classic freshwater angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare). Elegant triangular body shape with long fins. Semi-aggressive — best with medium to large peaceful fish.

DietOmnivorous — feed quality flakes and cichlid pellets supplemented with frozen foods like bloodworm, brine shrimp and daphnia. 1-2 small meals daily.
CompatibilitySemi-aggressive. Peaceful towards small community fish but will eat anything small enough to fit in its mouth. Keep in pairs or a small group in a tall, planted tank. Avoid fin-nipping tankmates like tiger barbs.
SetupTall tank with plants, driftwood and gentle to moderate filtration. Provide open swimming space in the middle with shaded areas. Soft to moderately hard water with stable conditions; dark substrate and background reduce stress.
Care LevelWeekly partial water changes of 25% with stable parameters. Angelfish are sensitive to ammonia and nitrite. Quarantine new fish and watch for Ich and fin rot.
Please ensure you can provide a suitable, cycled tank before ordering. Young bettas may mature after arrival.
