About this product
Warm blonde tones with red showing through the fins and upper body. A softer, more understated fish than a full red cobra.
Care
- Water: 22-28°C, pH 6.8-7.8. Very tolerant of hard water, which suits Cape Town tap water well.
- Tank: Minimum 20 litres per guppy, 45cm wide or larger. Heavily planted and well oxygenated.
- Males: Males are territorial towards one another. One male per tank, or space them out with planting that breaks sightlines.
- Diet: Quality flake daily plus live or frozen food. Guppies breed readily on a full diet.
- Breeding: Livebearers, giving birth to free-swimming fry. Separate the young or provide dense planting if you want them to survive.
Colour in females of fancy strains varies between individual fish. Weights and colouration are indicative rather than guaranteed on an assorted lot.
Sold as pre-order stock while our supplier confirms the next shipment. Photographs show a representative fish from the strain rather than the exact individual shipped.
